Copperstone Resort

Over the weekend Bryce and I stayed at the Copperstone Resort, which is located just outside of Canmore in Dead Man's Flats. It's a quick drive into town (about 5 minutes) and you still get the beautiful mountain views from your window.

We drove up after work on Friday night and were able to make dinner in our room, as they include full kitchens with everything you need. (Except a baking sheet - we had to call the front desk for one so we could use the oven, so keep this in mind when choosing what food to bring).

We stayed in the one bedroom suite, which has a queen sized bed, full bathroom, kitchen, eating and sitting area. The resort includes heated underground parking, free wifi, and is pet-friendly. They also have a large hot tub outside which is perfect after a day of snowboarding.

Overall we really enjoyed our two night stay at Copperstone Resort - it made the drive to Sunshine Village shorter (we are from Calgary), we were able to eat dinner in Canmore, and we were just a short drive from Kananaskis, where we went snowshoeing on Sunday afternoon.
